All account with ScoastNet include at least 5MB of Web Space. You can use this space to host your own web pages.
The only other restriction on your web site is to host no material refused classifaction by the ABA.
Any such material will be removed if discovered in accordance with the Internet Censorship laws put in place by our unbelievably wise and useful government :-)
HOW DO I DO IT
The system expects your home page to be named one of the names listed below
index.html
welcome.html
home.html
In order to copy your web site to the server using FTP (if you do not have a FTP client such as WS FTP for Windows of Anarchie for Mac, click here) set the host name to seaport.scoast.net.au with you normal username and password. Leave the path setting blank.
This should log you into your directory where you will see a folder named public_html. This folder is the root directory of your site. Copy your site to this folder and you should be able to access it using the address
http://www.scoast.net.au/~username
If you cant connect to the server as above, please contact help@scoastnet.com.au or call 44555177
